Dr Lisa OrbanOur guest interviewee this month is clinical psychologist and personal brand consultant Dr Lisa Orban of  Golden Notebook. I will be talking to Lisa on what is exactly a personal brand and how does it relate to confidence? How exactly do we discover or create our personal brand and what to do when (and it will happen) some people don’t like our brand?

Lisa is originally from New York, somewhere I have long associated with confident women! She’s also contributed to Cosmopolitan, Grazia, the BBC and Glamour to name a few.

Self-care is a bit of theme for us at The Bitch Network this month. We have our event in London on the 18th September, centred around Ferocious Self-care. I will be speaking and will be joined by the three other Bitch coaches: Melanie Charles, Rachel McGuinness and Fiona Kearns. Once again it will be held at The Library private members club in Covent Garden. Do join us if you can.

Our book club choice for September is also focused on self-care. We will be reading Romancing the Ordinary by Sarah Ban Breathnach. This is a book I have had on my bookshelves for over ten years. I find it full of creative ideas on self-care and a reminder of the sensory world around us. We will be be reading and discussing this in our private Facebook group:

“Romancing the ordinary will show you how to seduce the most important persona in your life – yourself”

Self-care is one of the subjects in our tutorial of the month. We will be looking at how to stop people pleasing and let go of worrying about what other people think of you. We often think of people pleasing as a habit that just needs a little work, but the truth is we need to go a lot deeper than that, hence the need for ferocious self-care. We need to remind ourselves that we are worth fighting for.

We also have our group coaching session where you can bring your own issues for coaching or just listen in.

You can join The Bitch Network here and get access to all that plus all the great content up until now.
